CENTRAL CITY – Kenneth Ray Wininger, 93, of Central City, died Thursday, November 23, 2023, at 10:46 a.m. at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Born January 4, 1930, in Muhlenberg County, he worked for Illinois Central Railroad, and was also a rural postal carrier. He was of the Christian faith. He was preceded in death by his wife Brenda Wininger; parents Paris and Irene Wininger; brother Charles Wininger; and step-son Joseph Noffsinger.
Survivors include his children Keith Wininger, Kimberly (Gaylin) Spurlin, and Carol Wininger (David Spicer); step-children Tim (Tammy) Noffsinger and Andy (Jamie) Noffsinger; seven grandchildren; and sister Hilda Ervin.
Funeral services were held Saturday, November 25, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Mr. Paul Moore officiating. Burial followed in Fairmount Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
