Kenneth E. Gossar, 70, of Greenville, died Friday, July 2, 2021 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Born January 27, 1951 in Boonville, Ind. on January 27, 1951, the son of George William Gossar and Mary Elizabeth Miller Gossar. He was a pipe fitter for TVA and worked for 33 years at the Fossil Fuel Plant at Paradise where he retired in 2014. He U S Army Veteran serving from 1970 until 1972 and was stationed in Tacoma, Wash. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Marie Anne Gossar, and three brothers Robert Gossar, Michael Gossar and Sidney Gossar.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Betty Gossar of Greenville; sons—-Kenny Gossar of Belton, Cameron Gossar of Greenville and Cody Gossar of Luzerne; 10 grandchildren; brothers, Bill Gossar of Alpharetta, Ga. and Gary Gossar of Evansville, Ind.; sister, Shirley Jean Smith of Boonville, Ind.
Funeral services were held Sunday, July 4 at 4:00 p.m. at New Paradise Baptist Church in Greenville with Rev. Tim Adcock officiating. Gary’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Online condolences to the family may be made at www.garysfuneralhome.net
