GREENVILLE – Keith W. Rice, 58 of Greenville, passed away at his residence on Monday, October 5, 2020. Born November 7, 1961, in Muhlenberg County to Pastor Wayne Rice and the late Rebecca Sue Rice. He was a member of New Life Church in Powderly. Keith possessed a passionate love for his wife and family that he was always sure to communicate. This love was only superseded by his love for the Lord Jesus Christ. Although his physical condition inhibited him from preaching the gospel as he wanted, Keith was a prayer warrior behind the scenes of many people’s lives. He will be dearly missed by his wife and family.
Survivors include wife of 42 years, Frances Carol Rice; children, Amy (Chad) Brewer, LeAnn (Michael) Ford, and Ryan (Summer) Rice; father, Pastor Wayne Rice; siblings, Kevin (Terri) Rice and Stacie (John) Stewart; ten grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services will be Thursday, October 8, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at New Life Cemetery, with Bro. Charlie Browning officiating, assisted by Rev. Kerry Vincent. Burial to follow. Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
