POWDERLY – Keith “Doug” Douglas Edwards, 59, of Powderly, died Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 5:18 a.m. at his residence. Born January 26, 1965, in Hammond, Ind. he was retired from Tele Scripps, and he was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed fishing, cars, and watching television. He was preceded in death by his father, Hildred Edwards; and his brother, Jeff Wilkins.
Survivors include his mother, Wanda Edwards; siblings, David Edwards, Tracey Kulijof, and Teresa Puryear; and his children, Teneka Edwards and Jon Michael Simms.
Graveside funeral services will be Thursday, August 8, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Old Bethel Cemetery in Greenville with Bro. Scott Casebier officiating. Burial will be in Old Bethel Cemetery.
