Kayla Dawn Hill, 23, of Greenville, passed away Monday, May 3 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville after a sudden illness. Born July 9, 1997, in Muhlenberg County, the daughter of Michael Wayne Hill and Kimberly Dawn Higgins Hill.
Survivors include a son, Alex Tanner of Moorman; parents, Mike and Kim Hill of Greenville; sister, Seirra (Thomas) Mefford of Nelson Creek; grandparents, Kenny and Sue Higgins of Greenville and Claude and Martha Roberson of Belton; uncles, Kevin Francis of Greenville and Darian (Amy) Hill of Drakesboro; nephews, Sawyer Mefford and Lawson Mefford; boyfriend, Aaron White of Central City.
Funeral services will be Thursday, May 6 at 11:00 a.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville conducted by Rev. Tom Carroll with burial to follow in Skipworth Cemetery in Rosewood. Visitation will be Thursday, May 6 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville. Family and friends attending will be asked to wear facial coverings and observe social distancing.
