GREENVILLEāKatherine Blanche Conatser, 100, passed away June 17, 2025 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Born August 31, 1924 in Girard, Tex., the daughter of Clate and Susie Hill Barton. Mrs. Conatser was a faithful member of Greenville First Baptist Church for over 45 years and sincerely loved her church. She enjoyed gardening and was noted for her display at Christmas of poinsettias in the shape of a Christmas tree in her front windows. She was esteemed and loved by so many people for her kindness and the cards of support she sent to hundreds.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband C.V. Conatser, and her brothers Gene and R.T. Barton.
Private graveside services will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville on Friday, June 20 at 11:00 a.m. conducted by Mr. Mike Roll.
Survivors include her son, Dr. David (Carol) Conatser of Greenville; grandson, Chris Conatser of Greenville and granddaughter, Cathy Conatser Bloomington, Ind.
There will be no visitation.
