GREENVILLE – Karen Elaine Noffsinger, 73, of Greenville died Monday, March 31, 2025 at the Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro. Born in Greenville June 6, 1951, the daughter of the late Irvin Wells and Mary Lou Dukes Wells. Karen graduated from Hughes-Kirk High School in 1969, she was a member of Greenville United Methodist Church, and a registered nurse working as an ER supervisor at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital, retiring after 47 years. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and her pets, and eating out was something she really enjoyed.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 5 at 1:00 p.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville with Rev. Brent Waltrip officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Greenville.
Surviors include her husband of 44 years, Robert “Bobby” Noffsinger of Greenville; son, Robby Noffsinger of Nicholasville, Ky.; daughter, Felicia Chaney of Sturgis, Ky.; six grandchildren; sister, Renita Wells of Greenville.
Visitation will be on Saturday, April 5 from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville.
