Greenville – Julee Anne Pittman was born in Memphis, Tenn. on December 15, 1957. She was a graduate of the University of Kentucky. Where she received a masters in Library Science. She retired from Ahlstom-Munksjo Filtration in Madisonville, where she was the human resources assistant. She was preceded in death by her parents Jewel and Shirley Pittman.
She traveled extensively for work and recreation across the United States. She always enjoyed seeing new places. She enjoyed reading on a variety of topics and was especially interested in space exploration and the Catholic Faith. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, playing word games and being outside on pleasant sunny days. She loved animals and was always kind to them. She especially loved her Polly Bean and her cats. She was a kind, funny, and devoted sister, aunt, great aunt, friend and neighbor and would help anyone in need. Above all, she loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and was a devoted follower of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include her sister, Kinley Pittman of Greenville; brother, Mike (Mary) Stewart; nephew, Michael (Christy) Stewart; great-nephew, Jay Stewart; great-niece, Elizabeth Stewart all of Collierville Tenn.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday February 23, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Central City with Fr. William Thompson Officiating. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery in Owensboro at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will Tuesday February 22, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City. Prayer Service will be Tuesday at at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Central City, or the Muhlenberg County Humane Society.
