CENTRAL CITY – Judy Gail Smith, 73, of Central City, died Thursday, September 3, 2020, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Born March 13, 1947, in Central City. She was a school bus driver, and had also previously worked at as a CNA at Riverside Nursing Home. She loved UK basketball, gardening, and playing Bingo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Smith; parents Mabel and Billy Russell; and sister Linda Russell Beshear.
Survivors include her daughters, Crystal (Rodney) Chandler and LaDonna Smith, both of Sacramento; sister Bonnie Devine; and grandchildren Blake Shadowen and Baylyn Chandler.
Graveside funeral services will be Tuesday, September 8, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Gardens in Powderly, with Bro. Ron Doss officiating. Burial to follow. Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
