Judy Evelyn Mallory, 76, of Greenville, left this world on Friday, April 14, 2023. Born September 5, 1946, the daughter of Gilbert Jernigan and Marjorie Doss Jernigan, she was a loving wife, mother, and mammaw, and was a great example of a Christian woman. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Central City. She loved to go fishing and to play cards with friends and family. She had a great love for her family and was always smiling and laughing.
She was preceded in death by her son Marty Mallory; her parents; three sisters Carol Harless, Dean McGuyer, and Sue Johnson; and her brother James Jernigan.
Survivors include her loving husband and best friend of 53 years, Roy Mallory of Greenville; daughter, Crystal (David) Morphew; daughter-in-law, Donita Mallory; grandchildren, Nathan (Aimee) Dukes, Addyson Fleming, Allyson Fleming and Scott Cissna; great grandchildren, Houston Dukes and Waylon Dukes and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Thursday, April 20, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville conducted by Bro. Lige Caudill. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Powderly. Visitation will be Thursday, April 20 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville.
