GREENVILLE – Judith Kay Jarvis, 75, of Greenville, died Thursday, May 7, 2026 at 9:22AM at her residence in Greenville. Ms. Jarvis was born on February 28, 1951 in Smithfield, NC. She was a Retired Hotel Manager and of the Baptist faith. She loved nature and animals, and she loved to write. She was a photographer in college and also participated in barrel racing. She was preceded in death by her father, Laudie Gibson Holland; and mother, Julia Darby Holland.
Ms. Jarvis is survived by her husband, Mitchell Ray Jarvis; son, Dominic Insignares; daughter, Rachel Strickland; grandson, Dylan Insignares; granddaughter, Christian Strickland; sister, Anne Stokes; and brother, Don Holland.
Graveside services will be Monday, May 11, 2026 at 10AM at Old Liberty Cemetery with Richard Jarvis officiating. Burial to follow. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com. Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
