BELTON – Joyce Faye Whitney, 81, of Belton, died Monday, January 6, 2025, at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Born June 26, 1943, in Muhlenberg County. She was retired from Cowden Manufacturing and also worked at Red Kap. She attended Union Chapel Baptist Church. Mrs. Whitney was a 50-year member of Eastern Star. She loved to watch hummingbirds and game shows. She adored chocolate. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the apples of her eye. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Whitney; parents, Phillip and Christine Baker; brother, S.P. “Cracker” Baker; and granddaughter, Amanda LeeAnn Whitmer.
Survivors incude her daughter, Angela (Ricky) Whitmer; grandchildren, Ricky Scott (Andrea) Whitmer and Phillip Whitmer; great-grandchildren, Jayden Whitmer, Carter Whitmer, RaLeigh Whitmer (Dylan Landrum), and Trevor Whitmer; and great-great-grandchildren, Peyton Rose Whitmer and Dakoda Wayne Landrum.
