CENTRAL CITY – Joseph Michael “Mike” Brooks, 77, of Central City, died Saturday, September 2, 2023, under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. Born July 22, 1946, in Louisville, he worked in delivery and sales for Schwan’s Frozen Foods. He was a member of New Testament Church and was a devoted Christian. He was an elder in the church and a Sunday School teacher. He was preceded in death by his father, Chester L. Brooks; mother, Ann B. Brooks; and brother, John Brooks.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Ann DuVal Brooks; daughter, Amy Revlett; sons, Allen Brooks and Chris Brooks; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday, September 7, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at New Testament Church in Central City, with Bro. Matt Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at New Testament Church and Thursday after 8:00 a.m. at the church. Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
