CENTRAL CITY – John Rickey Minton, 66, of Central City died Friday, January 12, 2024 at his home. Born December 11, 1957 in East St. Louis, Ill. he was retired from Wal-Mart as a maintenance man in Paducah.. He was preceded in death by his father Glenn Minton; step-mom Janet Minton; brother Kenny Minton; niece Misty Minton; nephew Josh Minton; grandparents Bill and Oneita Minton; step-daughter Lori Jenkins.
Survivors include his sisters Misty Minton Brown and Denise Cox; brother Greg Gibson; four nieces; and two nephews.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home, 536 Bradford St., Beechmont with Bro. Mike Chambers and Bro. Bobby Allen will officiate. Burial will follow in Riverside Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. The family request that expressions of sympathy be made to the John R.
