BREMEN – John Paul Gregory, 58, of Bremen, died Monday, May 16, 2022, at his home. Born May 16, 1964, in Cook County, Ill. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a union carpenter for over 40 years with Union Hall Local #549, helping to build the Greenville Court House, Baptist Health Clinic, St. Vincent Hospital, and Deaconess Hospital. He enjoyed fishing, riding his Big Red, and riding his Harley Davidson. He liked scary movies, grilling with his friends, and spending time with his friends on “The Hill”. He loved eating ice cream and feeding it to his daughters and grandchildren, and his favorite flavor was Neopolitan. He was preceded in death by his father, Junior Gregory; mother, Joan Phillips; and brother, Dale Robertson.
Survivors include his children, Mary Beth Lingenfelter, Ashley Gregory, Dakota Gregory, and Graci Gregory; seven grandchildren; sisters, Gail Robertson, Tracy Holt, Sandy Gregory, and Kim Goforth; and brother, Weston Gregory.
Funeral services will be Thursday, May 19, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Joey Todd officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery.
