Clifty – Jim Taylor Williams, 85, of Clifty, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2022 in Clifty. Born March 2, 1937 in Springfield, Tenn., he was a Boilermaker at Paradise in Drakesboro, was a Baptist by faith and was a member of Boilermakers Local #40. He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley Carolyn Williams in 2007, his parents Robert Franklin Williams and Laura Bell Adcock Williams, his daughters Debbie Johnson in 2019, Michelle Williams in 1969 and Annette Lazzara in 2006, his brothers Bob, Larry, Dale and Jesse Williams, his sister Louise Rose.
Survivors include his daughter, Kim Parker of Trenton; brothers, Nick, Marvin and Carl Williams both of Clifty; sisters, Barbara June McIntyre of Allegre, Kathy Walker of Elkton, Mary Dethridge of Bowling Green, and Jackie Hildabrand of Elkton; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Sunday March 6, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home in Elkton with Rev. Tommy Wilhite officiating. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery in Elkton. Visitation will be Saturday March 5, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home. Services will be live-streamed at lathamfuneralhome.com.
