GREENVILLE – Jim Randall Howe, Sr., 79, of Greenville, died Saturday, January 16, 2021, at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Born September 14, 1941, in Muhlenberg County. He was a supervisor at Super-Valu, a member of Woodland Missionary Baptist Church and a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was preceded in death by his brother, Harlan Howe.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Jane Howe; son Jim Randall (Patty) Howe, Jr.; daughter Kimberly (John “Fuzzy”) Pope; grandchildren Brent James, Christopher James, John Pope, and Danielle Pope; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and brother Jerry Howe.
Funeral services will be Thursday, January 21, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Clifford Lovell officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday after 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Family and friends are asked to wear a face covering, in accordance with the governor’s mandate.
