BEECH CREEK – Jerry Lee Cook, 86, of Beech Creek died Friday, August 23, 2024 at Greenville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Greenville. Born in Muhlenberg County on December 6, 1937. He was a former custodian at Land Between the Lakes and a veteran of the Air Force. He liked being on the go, he never wanted to sit still. He enjoyed the outdoors; hunting and fishing were his passions. Mr. Cook is preceded in death by his parents, Sherman and Louise Cook; wife, Ida Pearl Hester Cook; sisters, Sue Cook and Maryanne Pendley; brother, Larry Cook.
Survivors include his daughter, Emma Cook; nephews, Tim Cook and Mike Pendley.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, August 29, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Rochester Cemetery with David Anderson officiating. Tucker Funeral Home in Central City is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences can be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com
