Central City- Jeffery Lee Robinson, 59, died Sunday, May 23, 2021 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Born August 30, 1961 in Crawsfordsville, Ind., His parents, Robert T. Gott, Sr. and Emma L. Robinson Gott preceded him in death. He was a member of the New Immanuel, ACOTLG Church in Central City, a US Army veteran in the Kentucky National Guard and was employed by Flynn and McDonald’s both in Central City. He loved watching movies, spending time with his family, enjoying Louisville Basketball, and having delightful, loving conversations with his daughters.
Survivors include his daughters, Jennifer Janet Robinson of Owensboro, Amarina Jean Robinson of Island, Alisha Taylor of Owensboro and April Brown of Guthrie; sons, Joey Williams of Westville, Ind. and Marco Brown of Owensboro; two grandchildren; brother, Robert T. Gott, Jr. of Central City; sisters, Bishop Jennifer (Minister Eni) Carney of Central City and Kimberly Diane Gott of Greenville; uncle, Shirley (Nette) Gott of Chattanooga, Tenn., ; aunts, Beverly Robinson, of Crawfordville, Ind., Leola Johnson of Central City and Margie Drake, of Chicago, Ill; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Private funeral services will be Saturday, May 29, 2021, at 1 p.m. at New Immanuel, ACOTLG Church in Central City. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will follow in West End Cemetery in Greenville with Bishop Jennifer Carney officiating. Bibbs Funeral Home in Greenville, KY is in charge of arrangements.
Family and friends attending the visitation or funeral service shall be within current health and safety directives/guidelines/ social distancing.
