BELTON – Janice Marie McPherson, 85, of Belton died Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at 9:05 p.m. under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky in Owensboro. Born June 14, 1940 to Dallas and Edith Beliles in Muhlenberg County. She married Cecil McPherson October 19, 1956. She retired from IGA and MAC’s Service Center. She attended Mud River Union Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil McPherson; and parents, Dallas and Edith Beliles.
Survivors include her children, Kathy Grubbs, Timothy McPherson, Richard McPherson, and Barbara McPherson; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Sue Davenport, JoAnn Drumheller, Shirley Carver, Marta Morphew, Karen Trent; brother, Dalton Beliles; special in-laws, Bonnie Cartwright, Peggy Beliles, Charlie McPherson, Hettie Garrett; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be Sunday, January 4, 2026 at 2 p.m. at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home with Bro. Brian Haire officiating. Burial in Mud River Union Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
