GREENVILLE – James William (Bill) Vincent, 77, of Greenville, died Sunday, December 21, 2025 at his residence surrounded by his family. Born September 9, 1948 in Muhlenberg County, to the late William and Christine Vincent. He was a retired probation officer, having dedicated many years to public service and was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He was a member of Second Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be a private celebration of life. Gary’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Chauncia Pendley Vincent of Greenville; son, Kelly (Jenny) Vincent; daughter, Amy (Mark) Cornette; brother, Dicky (Debbie) Vincent; sister, Carolyn (ET) Pendley; grandchildren, Lauren (Thad) Cartwright, Taylor (Caleb) McGehee, MaCarly (Clint) Zoellick, Madelyn (Trey) Kinison and nine great-grandchildren
