LOUISVILLE – James M. Quisenberry, 90, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2023, after multiple complications from hip replacement surgery. Born Nov. 30, 1932 in Lincoln, Ill. to Harold and Norma McManaway, he served two years in the US Army. He went to Umpire School in Nebraska and spent time in the Florida League. He was preceded in death by his parents and only brother, Duane Quisenberry.
Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, Hilda Jones Quisenberry; sister-in-law, Joyce Quisenberry; two nieces; two nephews; and numerous cousins.
Private Graveside services will be Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Woodland Cemetery in Greenville with Bro. Scott Milby officiating. Tucker Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements.
