SACRAMENTO – James “Jimmy” Carroll Igleheart, 82, of Sacramento died Monday, January 12, 2026 at 1:40 p.m. at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville. Born July 12, 1943 in Sacramento. He was a member of Sacramento United Methodist Church, a U.S. Army Veteran and a Magistrate for several years in the Southwest District. He was a Farmer who enjoyed working on equipment and taking care of livestock. He loved fishing with his son and he adored his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Murtry Igleheart, Jr., and Gerald Igleheart; sister, Virginia Barnett; and son-in-law, Chad Atherton.
Survivors. include his wife, Donella Igleheart; son, Donald Igleheart of Sacramento; daughters, Christy Murray of Livermore, and Debra McClure of Bowling Green; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday, January 16, 2026 at 1 p.m. at Tucker Memorial Chapel in Sacramento. Burial in Sacramento United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
