GREENVILLE – James Hayes Osborne, 73, of Greenville died Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 4:04 p.m. at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro. Born in Pineville, Ky. August 4, 1951. He was of the Baptist faith and retired as a Boilermaker from TVA after 35 years. He loved his family, enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, and spending time outdoors, especially with his grandson. He was strong in his faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Octava Osborne; and sister, Charlene Staples.
Survivors include his daughter, Melissa Maddox; grandchildren, Kortney (Cole) West, and Jeremy Maddox; great-grandchildren, Wren West; brother, Gary Osborne (Lytres).
Funeral services will be Monday, March 17, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Daniel Baize officiating. Burial in Woodland Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com
