DRAKESBORO – James Eric Burden, 57, of Drakesboro died on Monday, March 16, 2026 in Rochester. Mr. Burden was born on September 1, 1968 in Hammond, Indiana. He graduated from Hughes-Kirk Class of 1987 and was a farmer. He was preceded in death his parents, J.P., and Kay Burden; and niece, Jerina Gardner Edwards.
He is survived by his children, Clay (Alexis), Cody (Leslie), Erica (Ashton), Haley, and Michael (Lauren); grandchildren, Charlie, Eleanor, Elias, Finley, Isabella, Jensen, Madison, and Sammy; former wife of 27 years and mother of his children, Michele; and sister, Jamie Hamby (Vernon).
Funeral services will be Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 12PM at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Chambers officiating. Burial in Forest Grove Cemetery.
