GREENVILLE – James B. Miller, 99, of Greenville, died at 6AM on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at his residence. Mr. Miller was born in Dayton, TN on November 25, 1926. He was a member of Woodland Baptist Church. He retired as a Coal Miner from Peabody Coal, and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Van and Laura Miller.
He is survived by his wife of 75 years, Hilda Allen Miller; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Larry and Linda Allen; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Martha and Roger Jennings; and sister-in-law, Anna Collins; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday April 6, 2026 at 11AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Larry Allen officiating. Burial in Woodland Cemetery in Greenville. Visitation will be Monday from 9-11AM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
