BELTON – Jakob Thomas Simmons, 23, of Belton, died Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at his residence. Born in Muhlenberg County February 17, 2002. He worked as a Sales Representative for Uncle Lee’s and was a member of South Carrollton Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph L. Simmons; grandmother, Patty Ewings; and niece, Serenity O’Bannon.
Survivors include his parents, Raymond, and Tabitha “Tabbie” Piper; sisters, Angelia Simmons, Kaitlyn Piper, and Kelsey Piper; several nieces and nephews; grandparents, Henry (Maryann) Simmons, Debbie (Matt) Embry, Ernest Callahan and Eva (Ken) Piper; and best friend, Christian Epley.
Funeral services will be Friday, December 19, 2025 at 12 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Greg Brooks officiating. Burial in Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
