DRAKESBORO – Ivan “Wayne” Ward, 69, of Drakesboro, died Thursday, October 19, 2023 in Lewisburg. Born October 28, 1953, in Greenville, he was a truck driver for Zackery Tree Services and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his father, Ivan Neil Ward; mother, Nora Lee Ward; daughter, Heather Nell Ward; and sisters, Rosa Lee Dennis, Dianna Kay Zimmerman, Mary Dean Tate, and Barbara Neil Vaught.
He is survived by his sons, Randall Lewis Ward of Drakesboro and Timothy Aaron Ward of Tacoma, WA; sisters, Teresa Brand and Alisa Chambers; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and best friend.
Funeral services were held Sunday, October 22, 2023, at 2:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Mike Rambo officiating. Burial followed in Nebo Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
