Isaac Glenn Lear, 83, of Central City, died November 13, 2020 at Maple Health and Rehabilitation. Born June 25, 1937, the son of Tom Lear and Bertie Brown Lear. He retired from Phelps Dodge in Hopkinsville after 25 years, and was a farmer all of his life. He was a member of Cleaton Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Nadean Lear in 2003, a step-son James Dorsey, Jr, and a grandson Christopher Patrick McElroy.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, November 16 at 1:00 PM at Joines Chapel Cemeterywith Rev. Tony Blake officiating. Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include by his wife of 16 years, Winnie Rose Johnson Lear of Central City; son, Steve (Anna) Lear of Belton; step-children, Angie Whittington of Bowling Green, Debbie (Ron) McElroy of Cleaton, William Harry Sinclair, Sr. of Dalhart Texas; twelve grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
