GREENVILLE – Irene Duvall Carter, 92, of Greenville, died Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 3:35 p.m. at Greenville Nursing & Rehab. Born January 20, 1933, in McCrory, Ark.. She was retired from The Pantry Stores as a store manager, and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed visiting with friends at the Dairy Queen, spending time with family, doing word puzzles, and shopping. She was preceded in death by her father, David Hale; mother, Lily Belle Hollis Hale; husband, Robert Duvall; and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her son, Bobby and Missy Duvall; daughter, Vickie and Terry Tucker; grandchildren, Ashley Duvall, Makayla Duvall, Samantha (Patrick) Hobgood, and TJ (Alexus) Tucker; great-grandchildren, Jackson Hobgood, Mason Hobgood, Harley Tucker, and Kinley Tucker; sister, Dorthy Hartsell; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Kerry Vincent officiating, assisted by Bro. Larry Shadowen and Samantha Hobgood.
