BROWDER – Hazel “Dean” Ferrell, of Browder, died Sunday, November 16, 2025 at 1:30 a.mm. at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. She was of the Baptist faith, and was the owner of Dean’s House of Style. She was very artistic. She had a talent for decorating homes, decorating for Christmas, and doing floral arrangements. She enjoyed going to estate and yard sales and finding good deals. She had a lot of fun attending country music concerts. Her favorite country artists were Gary Allan, Tanya Tucker, and Loretta Lynn. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Ferrell; parents, Finus and Albert Drake; and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her daughter, Tonya Ferrell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at 1 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Matt Adams officiating, assisted by Bro. Eddie Fleming. Burial in Allens Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. and after 8 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
