Gerald Dean Benham, 70, of Greenville, died Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro. Born May 13, 1951 in Hardinsburg, the son of Roy Dean Benham and Alta Marrgwen Smith Benham. He retired in 2004 after 27 years as a teacher for the Muhlenberg County Board of Education. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church USA and a mechanic who enjoyed working on old tractors. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Deborah Sobel.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Sandra Benham of Greenville; daughter, Tina Jackson; son, Christopher Benham; sisters, Rachel Morgan and Rebecca Gibson; brothers, Dr. Randall Benham, Carl Benham and Michael Benham; ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
