CENTRAL CITY – Gary Lee Scarbro, 68, of Central City, died Thursday, August 29, 2024 at 8:34 a.m. at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Born August 21, 1956 in Muhlenberg County. He was a member of Bible Way Holiness Church. He loved to work and loved his family. He loved to fish, to go to church, and to go out to eat with family and friends. He never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Faye Gregory.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Kay Stone Scarbro; son, Bryson Lee Scarbro; sisters, Sandra Poole of Madisonville, and Susan Downy of Greenville; brother, William Scarbro of Central City and mother, Betty Gregory of Madisonville.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, September, 3, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Crescent Cemetery in Cleaton with Bro. Jerry Whitehouse officiating. Burial to follow.
