Central City – Freddie Joe Penrod, 79, of Central City, died Friday September 16, 2022 at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville. Born March 14, 1943 in Muhlenberg County, he worked maintenance for SuperValu and was a proud Army Veteran. Freddie was such a family man; all his available time was spent with family enjoying the outdoors. His dogs and cats were spoiled rotten. He is preceded in death by his parents Pandora and George Penrod, and his wife Beverly Penrod.
Survivors include his daughter, Alita Morris of Central City; son, Aaron (Devri) Penrod of Nashville; brother, Sammie (Gloria) Penrod; grandchildren Brittany, Jason, Jeremiah, and Gregory; great-grandchildren, Tavie, Kelsey, Ryder and Drake.
Graveside services will be Monday September 19, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Central City with Bro. Joey Todd officiating.
