Freddie Dohoney, 72, of Owensboro, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at his home. Born December 31, 1950, to the late G.T. Dohoney and Marjorie Lehr. Freddie served four years in the U.S. Air Force and spent his life working as a mechanic. He loved anything to do with cars. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a nephew Christopher Dohoney.
Those left to cherish his memory include his son Richard Dohoney (Jacquelyn); siblings Teddy Dohoney (Deborah), Sherry Merrideth, Lonnie Dohoney (Jeannie), Lorrie Camron (Ron), Rhonda Knight (Phillip), Paul Lehr (Cherise), and Robert Dohoney (Dinah); grandson Konrad Montefour; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 2, from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
