Central City – Frankie James Reed, 40 of Central City died March 12, 2021 at his residence. Born January 17, 1981 in Muhlenberg County. He was a member of Cleaton Baptist Church, and a Machine Operator for the Plastic Factory in Greenville. He was preceded in death by his father Gary Griffin, mother Judy Smith, sister Brenda Reed, and brother Jerry Reed.
Survivors include his wife Tracy Roberts; son Kage Reed; daughter Hailey Reed; sisters Kathy (David) Rainwaters, Sandra (Kevin) Willoughby, Sharon Tinkle, Melissa (David) Roberts and Lisa Pride; brothers Jason (Pam) Griffin, Mike Griffin, Billy (Beth) Griffin, and Timmy (Jessica) Griffin; Step-children Chelsea Simpson, and Maverick Simpson, five grandchildren and aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday March 16, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Todd Cartwright officiating. Burial will follow in Old Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday March 15, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Family and Friends who are attending the visitation or funeral service are asked to wear a face mask for the safety of all those in attendance, in accordance with the governor’s mandate.
