“Evangeline E. Lee, entered into rest Monday, December 23, 2024 at the age of 95. She was the loving wife of the late Adrian Lee, loving mother of Dan Lee and Bobby Lee (wife Sally), cherished grandmother of Andrew Lee (wife Sarah), Elizabeth Brown (husband David), Holly Lee-Griffin (husband Nick), Nick Lee (wife Kristin), Jessica Trabue (husband Tim), and dear great-grandmother of 12. She is preceded in death by her sister Imogene Finley Paris and her parents, Coy and Viva Deason.
Evangeline’s love for God and her church was evident in every aspect of her life, as she found joy and fellowship at First Baptist Church and Roland Memorial Baptist Church in Greenville, KY. She loved to shop and spend time with her family. The Christmas season was very special to her- she enjoyed cooking and hosting her family for the holidays. After her husband Adrian’s retirement, they relocated to Texas. Following his passing, she moved to the St. Louis area to be closer to family. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Interment will be held at a later date at Dallas-Ft. Worth National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Roland Memorial Church in Greenville, KY (144 State Route 189 S., Greenville, KY 42345).”
