CENTRAL CITY – Eva Nell Cheatham, 90, of Central City died Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at her home. Born October 16, 1931 in Greenville, she was a homemaker and member of Ebenezer North Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her son Prentice Cheatham; daughter Mary Elizabeth Cheatham; parents Phillip and Eva Hurt and several brothers.
Survivors include her sons Randolph Hurt of Killeen, Texas, Cayce Cheatham of Central City, Robert Cheatham of Powderly, Earl Lewis Cheatham of Louisville and Bobby Joe Howard of Raeford, North Carolina; daughter Pauletta Cheatham of Central City; several nieces, several grandchildren and daughter-in-law Mary Cheatham.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City. Bro. Otis Cunningham and Pastor Jennifer Carney will officiate the services.
