MADISONVILLE – Ella “Lois” Ward Farris, 65, of Madisonville, died Thursday, March 6, 2025 at 5:22 a.m. at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville. Born March 23, 1959 in Greenville to her parents, Glen and Gladys Ward. She retired from Wal-Mart in Hanson after 34 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Randall Ward; niece, Elizabeth Ward; great-nephew, Jacob McKenney; and brother-in-law, Larry Browning.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne Farris of 20 years; one brother, Kenneth (Karen) Ward of Powderly; three sisters, Linda (Jerry) Humphry of Greenville, Glenda Browning of Topeka, Kans., and Donna (Ronnie) Grace of Greenville and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday, March 10, 2025 at 1 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Rev. Curtis McGehee officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
