Edna Mae Chandler, 77, of Greenville, died Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Born July 30, 1943 in Muhlenberg County the daughter of Buster Crick and Rosie McIntosh Crick. She had worked for Cowden Manufacturing Company and Flynn Manufacturing. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Tywappity. She liked to fish and to cook for her family and friends. She was a devoted Christian lady, a very caring woman, and she loved her family dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 53 ½ years Bonnie Edward Chandler in 2013, four brothers Elwood Crick, Noble Crick, Bill Crick, and L.D. Crick, and one sister Dorothy Drake.
Survivors include a daughter, Susie (Ronnie) Key of Echols; sons, Gary (Pamela) Chandler of Smith’s Grove and Ronnie (Phyllis) Chandler of Greenville; grandchildren, Savannah (Jeff Maples) Chandler of Park City, Ky., Jed (Christinia) Chandler of Shepherdsville, Kelsey (Seth) Washburn of Bowling Green, Butch (Aaron) Randolph of Bremen and Joel Skipworth of Goodlettsville, Tenn.; great grandchildren, Madelyn Chandler, Boston Chandler, Garrison Chandler, Briley Randolph, Aiden Randolph, Sailor Kate Gaines and Grayson Lane Gaines; sisters, Thelma (Melford) Brooks of Greenville, Dona Vincent of Central City and Minnie Gibson of Greenville.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 28 at 2:00 p.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville with Rev. J. W. Haire and Rev. Donald McGhee officiating. Burial will follow in Olive Grove Cemetery in Greenville. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 27 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. and on Sunday, March 28 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Gary’s Funeral Home in Greenville.
