CENTRAL CITY – Dorothy Sue Hearld, age 87, of Central City, died Friday, December 6, 2024 at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville. Born January 15, 1937 in Greenville and was a retired Clerk at Clinic Pharmacy and a member of Green River Chapel. Sue enjoyed to cook and spend time with her family. Loved working at Clinic Pharmacy and always greeted the community with a smile. She loved her Lord and faithfully served Green River Chapel and taught Sunday School for over 50 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Connis Hearld; parents, Roland and L.T. Jarvis.
Survivors include her daughter Janet Hearld; son, Terry (Angie) Hearld; grandson, Jerrod (Tracy) Hearld; sister, Anita (Charles) Haney and two nephews and one niece.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Wayne Stewart and Pastor Larry Shadowen officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday, December 9, 2024 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Tucker Funeral is in charge of arrangements.
