GREENVILLE – Dorothy Lee Sullivan, 92, of Greenville, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 9, 2025 at 10:18 p.m. at her residence surrounded by her family. Born May 16, 1932 to the late Alvie and Evelyn Middleton. Dorothy enjoyed watching soap operas, camping, and talking to her children daily on the telephone. She will continue to live on through her large family that loved her very much. She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Harold Sullivan; daughter, Alysha DeArmond, granddaughter, Cathy Allen; great-grandson, Alex Riegle; and great-granddaughter, Emerie McPherson; sisters, Nadine Hatfield and Shirley Bernice Middleton; and brother, Eurie Edward Middleton.
Survivors include her children, Carol (Terry) Allen, Phyllis (George) Caskey, Kenneth (Sandra) Sullivan, Linda (Sidney) Ford, Sonja (Ricky) McPherson, and Sherri (Joe) Fleming; brother, Curtis (Barbara) Middleton; and sisters, Marilyn (Barry) Avers and Trudy (Ron) Cobb. She leaves behind 19 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren plus so many great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday March 12, 2025 at 12 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Roger Wright officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
