Dorothy Bastin Stewart passed away peacefully Sunday, June 22, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her husband Junius D. Stewart Jr., and her loving grandson Nicholas.
Born September 14, 1928 in Central City, KY., Dorothy’s greatest joy came from spending time with her family and fostering a loving environment. Her clam dip was legendary in the neighborhood as well as her bourbon balls at Christmas time. You could always catch up with her at Sunday Breakfasts at Bayside for over 30 years with various family members and friends.
Survivors include her brother Leon; children Vincent (Hannelore), Sharon (Jerry), Ronald (Ginger), Jay (Kat), and Steven; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren with one on the way and one great great grandson.
