GREENVILLE – Dorothy Anita Jarvis, 87, of Greenville, died Friday, October 11, 2024 at 6:56 a.m. at TLC Assisted Living in Machesney Park, Iill. Born in Muhlenberg County on June 3, 1937. She was a member of New Cypress Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling, word finds, watching the KY Wildcats, spending time with friends, and she adored her grand-children and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gaithel Jarvis; brother, Kenneth Wright; and sisters-in-law, Jean Vincent, and Janet Wright.
Survivors include her sons, Gary (Deanna) Jarvis, and Ed (Karyn) Jarvis; grandchildren, Sabrina (Randy) Grienke, Nicole (Allen) Harrold, April (Billy Davis) Dodson, and Matthew (Audra) Jarvis; 13 great-grandchildren; and 2 brothers, Terry (Shirley) Vincent of Greenville, and Johnny (Teresa) Vincent of North Carolina.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at New Cypress Cemetery in Greenville with Bro. Tommy Drury officiating. Burial to follow. Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com
