Drakesboro – Donna Marie Smith, 74, of Drakesboro, died Friday, December 19, 2025 at 4:30a.m. at Maple Health and Rehab in Greenville. Ms. Smith was born March 22, 1951, in Hopkins County. She was a member of the Gospel Lighthouse church in Nortonville, loved playing with her grandkids, and enjoyed coloring, playing lottery tickets and bingo. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lucielle Littlepage; her husband Raymond Smith; her son, Darrell Groves; daughter, Debra Groves; brothers, Terry Littlepage and Michael Littlepage; and her sister, Shirley Cobb.
She is survived by her two daughters, Donna Meserve, and Sherry Lindsey of Drakesboro; son, David (Nellie) Groves of Earlington, Rubin (Amy) Groves of Beechmont, Timmy Groves of Madisonville, and Tommie Groves of Nortonville; sister Annette Littlepage of White Plains; and several grandkids, great-grandkids, and great great-grandkids.
Funeral services will be Monday, December 22, 2025, at 2:00p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Rodney James officiating. Burial in Fairmount Cemetery.
