CENTRAL CITY – Donald Mack Bard, 71, of Central City, died Monday, August 18, 2025 at 4:27 a.m. at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Born December 27, 1953 in Muhlenberg County. He was a farmer, a member of The Awakening Church, and a former member of Church of God in Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elder John West Bard and Rosie Mae Drake Bard; brother, John Alexander Bard; sister, Gloria Brewer; and brother, Nevin Prentice Bard.
Survivors include his brothers, Elder Charles Bard, Elder Cecil Bard, and Elder Kelly Bard; sisters, Erma Bard, Oneta Bard, and Beverly Bard; special sister-in-law, Sally Bard; aunt, Lovella Drake; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be Friday, August 22, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Justin Latham officiating. Burial in West End Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 9:30 a.m. -11 a.m. at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
