Donald Kevin Harris, 51, of Central City died Thursday, June 8, 2023, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. Born July 28, 1971, in Fort Oglethorpe, Ga. He was a salesperson at O’Reilly’s Auto Parts in Central City. Mr. Harris loved playing the guitar, yard sales, flea markets, fishing, cornhole games, and watching Nascar and dirt track races. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Sue Burrows, and his father, Ronald Harris.
Survivors include his long-time, significant other, Phyllis Barnes of Muhlenberg County; son, Zakk (Brittany) Harris of Rossville, Ga.; adoptive father, Lendell Jones of Muhlenberg County; sister, Karen Harris, and brother, Freddy Harris both of Ga.
Kevin’s life will be celebrated by those that loved him on June 24, 2023, at the Central City Park Community Center- 300 W. Whitmer Street, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
