MORGANTOWN – Donald “Eric” Wright, 58, of Morgantown, died Wednesday July 26, 2023 at 10:05 a.m. at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Born June 9, 1965 in Greenville, he was a Steel Worker/Journeyman for Green River Steel/Precision and was a member of Covenant of Grace Community Church where he spent much of his time. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending quality time with his family. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald R. Wright; mother, Myrtle M. Wright; sister, Angela Cobb; and nephew, Adam Hudson.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie Wright; daughter, Erica (Troy) Sherer; son, Nick Clark; granddaughters, Shelbee Sherer, and Dixie Clark; sister, Tracy Hocker; nieces, Katie (JT) Sharp, Paxton and Cameron Hocker, and Dora Hudson; and Pap’s crew, Cameron, Valen, Sammy, Brendyn, Lorelai, Dakota, Logan, Isabella, Zoey Beth, and Olivia.
Funeral services will be Sunday July 30, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Shane Garrett officiating and Bro. Cary Pentecost assisting.
