OAKLAND TOWNSHIP – Don Earl Sandefur, 82, of Oakland Township, Mich., died Friday, October 13, 2023 at Blossom Springs Assisted Living in Oakland Township. Born July 24, 1941 in Paducah, he was a Retired Plant Manager for American Maize Co. He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Sandefur; parents, Nick and Doris Townsend; and siblings, Curtis Sandefur, Norma Jean Dickinson, Bob Sandefur, Charles Sandefur, and Wayne Sandefur.
Survivors include his sons, Scott Sandefur, Jeff Sandefur, and Todd Sandefur; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; in-laws, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Thursday, October 19, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Bob Thurman officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
