Drakesboro – Delia Karen Atkinson, 69, of Drakesboro passed away, Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at the Heartford House in Owensboro. Born December 4, 1953, in Jacksonville, Fla., she was employed by the Muhlenberg County School District as a Teacher’s Instructional Aide. She was preceeded in death by her parents, John Stevenson and Margaret Wearren Stevenson, and a brother, David Stevenson.
Survivors include her husband, Rex Wilburn Atkinson of Drakesboro; daughter, Amanda Browning of Bowling Green; granddaughter, Harper Browning; grandson, Ryler Browning; brothers, Mike Stevenson of N.M., Johnny Stevenson and Mark Stevenson both of Indianapolis, Ind.; sisters, Wanda Stevenson of Jacksonville, Fla. and Cathy Willis of Indianapolis, Ind.; several nieces, nephews and a host of cousins and friends.
Memorial visitation will be Friday, February 10, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Bibbs Funeral Home Chapel in Greenville. Final tribute entrusted to Bibbs Funeral Home, 109 Court Row, Greenville, KY 42345.
